This is the Cafe Bar Marzano Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream, Marshmallows and an Orange Syrup Shot.
Is it rich? Yes.
Is it creamy? Yes.
Did it rock my world? Yes.
Today I needed something comforting and sweet and I got it in a lovely big cupful. The combination of chocolate, orange and marshmallow was a warming, luxurious, festive-feeling delight. It put the biggest smile on my face; albeit with a hearty blob of whipped cream on my nose, too.
If you’re a Hot Chocolate fan, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit on the ground floor of The Forum, in Norwich. The service is friendly, there’s plenty of seating and they always have a nice selection of fresh panini and cake.
My only regret is that I didn’t get the opportunity to stop and order a second cup and curl up with a library book on one of the leather sofas for a bit of ‘me time’ while it grizzled and gusted outside.
Tomorrow is another day though ❤ and this cold snap aint going anywhere!
